It serves throughout the world particularly in the United States and 180 other countries. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is an organization comprised of leading graduate business schools around the world. It is the owner and administers the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) exam. The GMAT exam is the first and only standardized test specifically designed for graduate business and management programs. It is available in almost 100 countries and it is the most widely used assessment for graduate management admissions and the most reliable predictor of academic success in graduate business studies.

National Testing Service (NTS) is said to be "Building Standards in Educational & Professional Testing". It is a non-profit, autonomous organization established with the basic objective of developing a credible, technically appropriate and accurate system to evaluate the knowledge level of students of different educational institutions at various levels. It operates on national level and one of its important commitments is conducting various types of tests. Generally, NTS conducts following types of tests:

In USA, the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) registers the students for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) and administers the test in limited locations and only a few times each year.
